These are the Big South Fork trails closed due to storm damage

As National Park Service crews work to clear roads and trails from downed trees in the aftermath of severe thunderstorms on Sunday, May 26, a number of roads and trails are closed.

According to the NPS, the following trails are closed:

• Yellow Cliff Horse Trail
• Salt Pine Ridge Horse Trail
• Station Camp Creek Horse Trail
• Gobbler’s Knob Wagon Trail
• Charit Creek Lodge Connector Trail
• Hatfield Ridge Multi-Use Trail
• Laurel Fork Creek Hiking Trail
• Twin Arches Hiking Trail
• Slave Falls Loop Trail
• Middle Creek Nature Loop

Additionally, Divide Road, Fork Ridge Road and Twin Arches Road are closed. Those areas will reopen when it is deemed safe to do so.

These trails are closed to all pedestrian, equestrian and bicycle traffic. According to the NPS, people who enter closed areas are subject to citations by law enforcement officers.
